For most of her life Nikki has been a dreamer. As a child it was a way for her to escape her loneliness and the sense she didn't quite belong. She lost herself in stories; those she read and those she dreamed up to satisfy a deep longing for more. What began as something that seemed like it would take her away from the world evolved into what would ultimately connect her to it more deeply.
